The Goodness of Pope John Paul II

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

As a Catholic in my early forties I have only know one Pope the one that I grew up with and the one I got to love and know just like if he was my grandpa. I remember the first time I ever laid eyes on him and I had the most wonderful, fuzzy feelings like falling in love with some one for a unknown reason. Many things have been accredited to this wonderful, intelligent man. Like the end of the cold war, miracles throughout the world and making the Catholic religion once again attractive to young people. There had been no other pope in the history of the Catholic religion with the exception of Jesus that brought some many crowds of young people screaming for him and chanting his name in numerous countries of the world. He was the pope that went a step further and got together with different religions of this world to bring peace to this troubled world. Only a few years of his passing have past and there is really a lot of need of such a good person to unify and heal.

Young people all over the world miss his honesty, sensitivity but most of all his humbleness. I will be visiting Rome very soon to pay my respect to this hero of mine, I know that I will have to walk a long way, so I will be taking my Acceletrim diet supplement to get some extra energy to climb all those steps in Vatican City. I cannot way to finally say good bye to him and pay my respects.
